The La Crosse River Rats were a professional indoor football team. They were a 2000 expansion member of the Indoor Football League (1999-2000). They played their home games at La Crosse Center. Their only wins came against the Minnesota Purple Rage and the Duluth-Superior Lumberjacks. Other than that, the RiverRats had a very mediocre season. When the league folded, the team did also.
